This one is a lengha choli, I personally like this one but everyone I've shown it to HATES it. I don't know why maybe it's because it's a dark colour and weddings are supposed to be bright. Who knows? I think I'll be wearing my red wig for this outfit, I think the green and red will match very nicely.
I am now prepared for all the weddings I'm going to attend this year. Crap, I forgot about shoes................

They are both fine, but that lengha choli, is gorgeous, I love the silluet and decoration.
Both are beautiful, but I agree with Sekhet, the lengha choli would be my choice. A bit more glamorous and more figure/shape.
I'm with your friends. I don't like the 2nd outfit because I think it doesn't fit you well! it looks all baggy and that is what making it look worse than the first outfit. Is there a way to tailor it more to your shape?
What are your own preferences?
Do you want to go, sexy, elegant, classical, trasitionel, fun (the pink hair)?
And yes the 2nd outfit could properly be more elegant/sensual, if the body was shaped more, but my experience is that it is a hassel to sew something when dekorertet.
You could go early 1930 in hairstyle and all; there a lot of the dresses have some extra fabric over a tight waist.

Not Sexy but nice and played down, classical and elagant with an oldfashion twist, as for you Hair you can allso go Audrey Hepburn or 1970 Bollywood like this movie Sawan Bhadon http://123movies.info/pictures/Sawan_Bhadon
A style thats make the neck and neckbones visible.
I still like it, very much ; )
Lyuba it is tailored :(
Sekhet, For the weddings I think I'll play it safe and wear the purple outfit, everyone I showed it to liked it. As for the green outfit, I'll see what I can do to make it more fitted. The problem is the shirt has no zip or opening anywhere, so trying to put it on is a nightmare! My friend had to help me out of the shirt the first time I tried it on.
Funny thing is nearly all of my asian friends hate the green outfit but most of my western friends like it.
No zipper, impressive that you've even have been able to get it on and off again;)
