Tatoushi 2.0

I've been neglecting this blog for some time now, it's time for a post.
For a while I've been thinking how to add a window to my tatoushi so I can see what I have stored in it. Buying business cards for a collection as big as mine can add up, so I thought this would be a better and cheaper alternative. Anyway here's the finished product.

I think it turned out o.k, the only problem I'm having at the moment is how to sew the bias tape around the window neatly.
That's it for this post.

I LOVE your handmade tatoushi. AND the Hawai'ian print fabric trim about happily sent me over the edge! XD. Hawai'ian fabric AND kimono are both my thing, so if you ever decide you want to make some more, I will happily pay you for them! :)

Seriously.

That is the COOLEST Tatoushi I have ever seen. I LOVE both Tatoushi and Hawai'ian fabric - are you selling these, by chance? I would gladly pay you for one (or a lot more!).

Fabulous! Were you making these for your own collection - or do you make them to sell, also? Since two of my favorite things in the world are Tatoushi and Hawai'ian fabric - if you plan on selling those, I would be happy to buy a bunch. .

Thanks Carter! I'm making these tatoushi for my own collection but I'm willing to make some for sale. Send me a email ( jumbocactuarhl (@) gmail.com) & we can discuss price.
