Yep like the title says I have been neglecting this blog, It's not like I don't have anything to say, I just feel like I don't have the energy to put it down into words. There's quite a few things I need to blog about, The march kimono outing, the concert, kimono purchases, may expo and a wedding. Teach me to procrastinate.
So Let first start with the koto concert me, Isla and April went to in march. The japan society in Birmingham was hosting a koto concert for it's members, as April is on the committee we managed to get tickets. Also I felt everytime we have a kimono meet up in London April has to travel down from Birmingham, so I thought it was about time we came to her instead. Me and Isla discussed what to wear to the concert, I was going to go in one of my furisode but I changed my mind beacuse I had already worn them all to an outing before and there were other kimono I still haven't even touched since I bought them. After some serious thinking time I decied to wear my multi season houmongi that I had been saving for a special occasion, you can check out the pics from that night here.

As for the koto concert, it was great! There was even a young girl in yukata performing and whoever said Birmingham was a dump obviously hasn't been there for a while.
