Cracking On With The Crafting

I've got 3 all black obi's (mofuku) so in order to make them more wearable I decided to paint on them. So I ordered all the things I needed and they came today so I thought I better start on them.
For this remake I used a ro obi as I have 2 of them, trying to draw the design (a fox) onto the obi was a nightmare. The fact that the fabric had tiny little holes in it and woulden't stay in place made it so much harder (1 1/2 hours in fact). Anyway after drawing the fox onto the obi I started to paint, at this point I found out I have no fine paintbrush only a calligraphy brush! So I had to make do and started painting. Originally the idea was to just paint the outlines and fill in the rest when I had a appropriate paintbrush, however things never go accoring to plan do they? The calligraphy brush was too big and I ended up painting pretty much the whole thing in, roughly of course.
So after half an hour of careful painting here's the near finished result, still have to do the design for the front of the obi but I think about that when the time comes.

Another one I made, it's supposed to be fireflys flying over grass in the moonlight. It's painted with glow in the dark paint, so it.......glows in the dark.
